Leh

Nubra Valley In Ladakh
Nubra Valley also known as “Dumra” which means”Valley of Flowers” is located in the northeast of Ladakh Valley. Nubra is a cold desert at a high altitude with minimal vegetation. The crown of this valley is added with Shyok and Nubra River which gives it the phenomenal scenic richness. Extensive landscapes, gigantic mountains, serene lakes, incredible trails, colorful monasteries, and native villages make this valley stunning. Kargil
Kargil is one of the two districts (the other being Leh) & the joint capital of Ladakh, the newly created Union Territory of India. It is located at an altitude of 8,80 feet above sea level on the banks of the Suru River.A tourist spending their holidays in Kargil will easily fall in love with its landscape, which has plenty of contrast. There are valleys, lakes & mountains, along with monasteries which offer lovely sightseeing opportunities.
Drass
Drass is a valley located in the Kargil district in the Union Territory of Ladakh. It lies on National Highway 1 (NH 1) between Zoji La & Kargil town and is famously referred to as the Gateway to Ladakh. For most people, their information about Drass begins & ends with it being the second coldest place in the world (the first being Siberia). However, there is more to Drass than just the bone-chilling temperature.
Zanskar
Popular primarily for its adventurous Frozen River/Chadar Trek in the winter season and adrenaline-rushing white water rafting experience in summer, Zanskar in Ladakh is a paradise for adventure and nature lovers. An offbeat destination, Zanskar is part of Kargil District in Ladakh and boasts some of the most spectacular views in the union territory. It covers an area of more than 5000 sq km and has a mountain range (Zanskar Range) of its own that is different from the Himalayas.
Khardung La Mountain Pass
At 5,359 meters, Khardung La is the highest motorable road in the world. A sign which greets visitors upon arriving there proclaims it with a hint of pride. The realization that one is traversing through the highest motorable road is in itself as exciting as it gets. Khardung La is a high-altitude mountain pass located almost 40 kilometers from Leh and is the gateway to Shyok & Nubra Valleys. It has an enormous strategic importance for India, as it is used to transport supplies to the Siachen Glacier. The Khardung La Pass, a major tourist place in Ladakh, is maintained by the Border Roads Organisation and all kinds of vehicles, from two-wheelers to heavy trucks, ply this road.
